Copa Igualada
On 29th of December, the Hot Air Balloon competition Copa Igualada has been celebrated, on its 11th edition. Copa Igualada has gathered pilots from Igualada, who have made a flight across Igualada, from Pla de la Massa and landing in Vilanova del Camí.
A hare balloon, piloted by Josep Costa, has placed a target and the rest of the balloons have tried to get as close as possible to it. The winner of this year has been Manel Rodríguez, who has released the testimony 20cm from the center of the target.
As the tradition marks, the trophy goes from the last year winner to the current winner. Therefore, this year the trophy was given from son to father, since the winner of last year was Aleix Rodriguez, a Camins de Vent pilot.

The tradition also says that the winner must organize a little lunch for the rest of the pilots. This competition was born to create comunity among pilots and to have the excuse to see each other in a relaxed lunch.
